Also any game suggestions? So far I've got Infamous (fucking awesome) God of War 3 (holy fucking awesome) Little Big Planet (pretty cool in a random way) and Uncharted 1 (haven't had time to try it yet, that's on today agenda).

I'm planning on Resistance 1 (I heard the first was significantly better than the second), Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Arkham Asylum, Dead Space, and both Assassins Creeds. Anything crucial I'm missing?

I DL'd the demo of Fat Princess, pretty sure I'm going to pick that up. Fun shit right there.

I've had mine for about a month now, picked up MLB The Show 10 (Quite a bit more unforgiving than the 2K series), Uncharted 1 (Excellent Tomb Raider Clone), FFXIII, Ratchet & Clank: ToD (Haven't played much, but it's an enjoyable platformer) Valkyria Chronicles (Just started playing yesterday, that Chapter Based System really takes away from the flow of the game, imho, but the combat system is awesome for a JRPG) and Resistance 1 (The only game I've been tempted to return to the store, in my history of gaming.)

I suppose that's my own fault though, I should have looked into it more, I didn't realize it was an Arcade Shooter, with terrible controls that make Halo look good.

Good call on the The Show '10 and Ratchet and Clank. Had R&C in my hand, but figured I should pace myself. Is The Show prohibitively tough or just realistically tough? I've played too many baseball games where even on the harder settings I'm winning each game 35-3 or something along those lines. Never enjoyed sports games that I get to dictate who the league MVP simply by willing it that way (Larry Fitzgerald is a 9 time MVP and Super Bowl MVP in the Madden game I had for 360 a few years ago)...or maybe I enjoy them but just a bit.

Interesting about Resistance, everything I've read is people slobbering themselves over how great it was - but for ~$20 probably worth a shot IMO.

It's realistically tough, and I'm apparently the king of striking out, unlike having the Home Run record broken within the first month on the 2K games. It's a near perfect baseball game.

I'll probably give Resistance another shot, it also offers Campaign Co-op apparently, which might make it more fun.

Demon's Souls is great unique game, I'd suggest picking it up. Also Grand Theft Auto 4 (Liberty City Stories comes out this month).

I'll probably check out Demon's Souls at some point. I think you had made a post out of it in the past (been looking through all four pages of posts in the forum over the last day or so, figured who else to get game advice from than you folks) though I've gotta hold off for the time being. Today's day 8 without a cigarette, and that level of frustration would probably bring me to the point where Nicarette is NOT enough. Down the road perhaps.

Dammit now I really wanna go buy The Show...god damn baseball season starting this week.

Demon's souls made me want to break my PS3. some of the early bosses youd have to summon someone in to beat and i hate having to bring ppl in. borderlands is great i thought. also if you liked God of War 3 you might like Dante's inferno, basically the same game but i thought dantes had a better story and it had player customization.
